Hi, my name is Kadence Slagle, and I’ve been fascinated by the arts for as long as I can remember. I started theater in elementary school, and my passion for acting only grew from there. However, in high school, I admired all the work that was put into the tech and design side of theater. After taking classes on the different aspects of design, I was able to work on my first couple of shows with the set department.

 

My creative and detail-oriented nature has allowed me to be skilled in the planning, building, and painting of sets for multiple shows. With this experience comes an understanding of how vital the set and design aspects are to bring a show together. Through this hands-on experience, I hope to be able to continue creating and designing for shows in the future and eventually pour my skills back into my community.
